Postive Thoughts for the Day

There's a tendency to think that if we worry enough about a situation, we can change it. I've found, however, that worry is not very effective in changing anything. In fact, it can increase tension in your body, mind, and emotions, which can make you feel worse. If you worry too much, you can become ill. And if you get ill, other people have to take care of you. So, by worrying, you may create more problems than you're trying to solve.
It's much easier to give your problems to God, or to the Light. You can take a problem or situation and say, "I place this in the Light for the highest good." It's amazing how freeing that is.
